Juicing with the Vitamix Creations II

Finding ways to get my family to eat healthier is one of my priorities. It is hard to get everyone to take in the proper amount of vitamins and nutrients their body needs.

I feel juicing is the best way to encourage better nutrition.



I had a juicer years ago, one that had the hopper on it to catch the fiber it left from juicing.


I would freeze the fiber from the different fruits and vegetables and use it in soup recipes or making breads.

We wore it out. I planned to buy another one but decided against it untill I found one there was no waste with.

You can only make so much carrot bread and soup.


 
Recently I purchased a Vitamix with the 48oz pitcher and I love it. The pitcher is large enough to make a serving of a delicious and nutritious smoothie for everyone at one time.



 I love the great whole food smoothies I make with this Vitamix.

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup almond milk {I use the original Almond milk}
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbs. protein powder
Blend and enjoy!
